The conference welcomes educators, researchers, practitioners, policymakers, individuals with disabilities, and their families.

What is the registration fee ? 
Fees vary based on participant categories. Visit the “Registration” section for the fee structure.

Are there early bird discounts?
Yes, early bird registration offers a discounted fee. The deadline for early bird registration is Jan 15, 2025

What does the registration fee cover?
It includes conference materials, access to sessions, food (1st, 2nd and 3rd March- breakfast, lunch, dinner and 4th March- breakfast) and accommodation (28th for four days (28th Feb to 3rd March), and a participation certificate. Special dietary requests can be mentioned during registration.

Can I get a refund if I cancel my registration?
Refunds is not available but you can give your ticket to someone else to use in your place.

Are group registrations allowed?
Yes, discounts for group registrations of 10 or more are available. Contact us for details.  

Can I register on-site?
On-site registration is possible but subject to availability. Early registration is recommended.

What is the registration process for international and national participants?
International participants can register online and receive confirmation via email. For international participants online card payment service is available and for Nepali participants registration can be done via bank transfer or via QR code payment. Nepali citizens send an email to the conference organizer with the payment details to get the confirmation email with the ticket in return.

Will I receive a confirmation email after registration?
Yes, a confirmation ticket will be sent once payment is successfully processed.

Which hotel accommodation will be provided by the organizer?
The organizer will arrange a stay at Hotel Pauwa and nearby similar hotels. The hotel stay will be provided from the 28th of February 2025, evening, until the 4th of March, morning. For additional stay requirements in Kathmandu and/or Pokhara before and/or after please contact our travel partner.

What should I do if I’m traveling at night on the 28th of February?

If you’re traveling at night on the 28th of February, the conference organizer will provide accommodation in Kathmandu. However, you must inform the conference organizer in advance to make the necessary arrangements.

What should I do if I am traveling on the evening of the 3rd of March to Kathmandu?

If you’re traveling on the evening of the 3rd of March to Kathmandu from Pokhara, the conference organizer will provide accommodation in Kathmandu. However, you must inform the conference organizer in advance to make the necessary arrangements.

What should I do if I am traveling before the 28th February or staying after the morning of the 4th of March in Pokhara and/or Kathmandu?

Do I need a visa to attend?
Yes, international participants should check their visa requirements, most countries get on arrival visa, but you should check the visa requirement to Nepal and request an invitation letter if needed. Check your visa requirement at https://immigration.gov.np/en/page/tourist-visa

What should I bring to the registration desk?
Bring your registration confirmation email with the registration ticket and a valid ID.

Are interpretation services available?
Yes, the conference will offer Nepali Sign Language, Nepali and English translator and interpreter services.

How can I travel from Kathmandu to Pokhara?
You can travel by plane or bus.

What are the ticket prices for planes and buses?
For foreigners, the plane ticket costs 105 USD, and the bus ticket costs 1500 NPR.

How much time does it take to travel from Kathmandu to Pokhara?
By plane, it takes about 35 minutes. By bus, it takes 8–10 hours.

Are there direct flights from Kathmandu to Pokhara every day? 
Yes, there are multiple daily flights between Kathmandu and Pokhara.

What are the flight timings from Pokhara to Kathmandu?

A: The first flight from Pokhara to Kathmandu typically departs around 7:00 AM, and the last flight is around 7:00 PM. However, flight timings may vary, so please check with the airline for the most accurate information.

What should I know about airport transfers in Kathmandu and Pokhara?

The distance from the International to the Domestic Airport in Kathmandu is around a 15-minute walk, and a shuttle service is available at the bus stand. In Pokhara, the Domestic Airport is approximately 5 km from the program venue and hotel, and taxi services are readily available for convenient transfers.

What about possible delays?

The end of February and March generally have good weather, but delays and cancellations are still possible due to weather conditions. The airline will not take any responsibility for them, offering only a refund. We recommend avoiding the first and last flights and advising you to reach Kathmandu a day early if connecting to an international flight. This allows also for alternative transportation in case of delays. Always check the weather status before flying.

What types of buses are available for the Kathmandu to Pokhara route?
You can choose from standard buses, deluxe buses, and luxury tourist buses.
